Noah Cannon, Sr.
Noah V. (Doc) Cannon Sr., 83, of 5300 Dunn Road, died Monday Sept. 29, at a local hospital. He was a native of Fulton Miss., and came to Fort Pierce from Okeechobee 26 years ago. Mr. Cannon was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Grace Ford of Fort Pierce; a son, Noah V. Cannon Jr. of East Genoa, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Corinne Morgan and Elota Bell Knight of Amory, Miss., and Eva Hartung of E. Jordan, Mich.
Graveside services will be held today at noon at White City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Paul officiating. Yates Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
