Rodney "Rod" Cusey, 46, of Bloomington, died at 9 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 29, 1990) at St Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tenn.

He was born Feb. 11, 1944, In Bloomington, the son of Wayne and Verle Kwasigroh Cusey.

He married Marilynn Armstrong Griffith July 9, 1982, in Bloomington. She survives.

Also surviving is his mother, Bloomington; a stepson, Cpl. John Griffith, Havelock, N.C.; one daughter, Renee Reiman, Bothell, WA; a step daughter, Jackie Page, Long Beach, CA; one sister, Sharon Wilson, Bloomington; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Cusey was a graduate of Bloomington High School.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Bloomington American Legion and Teamsters Local 26.

He was a truck driver for Rowe Construction Company.
