Dearest wife of Walter Louis Leonard married in 1955.
Harriette A.Leonard and Rosemary Leonard step-daughters of Wayne County MI.
Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews in Illinois.
Step grandmother to thirteen grand children.
Graduate of Michigan State University. Co-authoried a published book on Greek Civilation in 1947.She could speak and read French fluently.
Loved her grandchildren,gardening,Presbeterian Ladies Group of Grose Isle. Cookies did she make them!!!And put them in the tin containers on top of the stove just so that small grandchildrens hands could get them easily.Snickerdoodles were Marthas' favorite to make.
Martha started doing her family tree in 1972 when there were no computers,and you had to write the county clerks for genealogy information. She wrote her family history/tree from information gathered by her; mother,& one
sister,and family bibles that she kept.
Feeding the ducks on the lawn,hosting grandchildren for sleep overs was a favorite past-time too.
She is buried in Illinois,with her family.BEST GULLDARN GRANDMOTHER THERE EVER WAS.
