My Grandfather, Dave, was the son of David A. Kensler and Anna B. Kipp Kensler. He married Alice D. Boulais (1920). They had two children, Marion (Ken) A. Kensler and Delores M. Kensler. He later married Olive E. Andahl (1930). They had two children, including my mother Pansy A. Kensler Bubeck. Grandpa Dave served in the U.S. Army during World War I and suffered from the effects of mustard gas poisoning. It was believed that his renal disease resulted from this rather than anything hereditary. However, it is important to note that his paternal Uncle Henry died of kidney disease and his Aunt Martha died of Chronic Bright's Disease (Albuminuria).
