Dennis Irwin Greenwood of Pueblo, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 1997, of pneumonia. He was 68 years old. Dennis was survived by his six children: Dennis (Janice) Greenwood of Bountiful, Utah; Debra (Jeffrey) Einfeldt of Salt Lake City, Utah; Duane (Cynde) Greenwood of Eureka, California; DeAnn (Alan) Jones of Eureka, Nevada; Darrin Greenwood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; DeVon (LeRoy) Wistoff of Pueblo, Colorado; and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosamae Jacobsen. Dennis was raised in Union, Oregon. He served four years in the United States Air Force. Dennis graduated with a masters degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. After working for 12 years as a psychologist for the Colorado State Hospital, he retired due to a long-term disability. Dennis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A special thank you to Kaye Baxter, a devoted wife of 24 years, who continued to help with his care for 18 more years after their divorce. A thank you to her second husband, Frank Baxter, who encouraged and supported Kaye's participation in Dennis' care. A special thank you to Eunice Jordan who provided long-term care to Dennis. Eunice was his friend, always treating him with love and respect. Graveside services were held Monday, December 15, 1997, at 11 a.m. at Imperial Memorial Gardens. There was no public viewing. Graveside honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
