Destry was a friend of my brother's, but I hadn't had any contact with him since we moved years ago. I was very saddened to hear that he had died.

Destry was a Machinist Helper at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
Destry was an outstanding student, he was very athletic. Destry was an accomplished bow hunter, greenbelt in Shotokan karate and was a wrestler. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family, large extended family, his lifelong best friend Gibson Davies, and his countless friends each who held a special place in his heart.
Destry had a smile that brightened everyone's day he came into contact with. His mischievous ways and his gentle heart endeared him to everyone he met.
Destry was many things and everything to his friends and family. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and cousin.
Along with being with our Lord Destry is with family members in heaven: Grandma and Grandpa Jack Pykonen, Grandma Esther Bogert, Grandpa Donnie Evans, and Grandpa Elmer Arter.
