Zachary was diagnosed in Feb. 2006 with a rare & agressive cancer - adrenocortical carcinoma. He died from kidney failure, due to a hospital induced overdose of pain medication in Sept. 2006. Prior to his diagnosis, he played football for 10 years, 4 for Trenton High School. He was on the Dean's list at Mich. State University, where he was a Sophomore at the time of diagnosis.
