Cora Sue "Codie" Blalock Zilkey, 58, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Little Rock.

She was born September 16, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frances and Robert Blalock, Jr.

Codie attended the First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville. She did volunteer work for the Elks Lodge in North Little Rock and was the 1996 Sweet & Low National Waitress of the Year.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; two sons, Thomas and Chad French of Lowell, Arkansas; brother, Bob Blalock of Fayetteville, Arkansas and one grandson, Zane French.

Private Graveside services will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers you may send donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
