My grandmother "Grannie" was the warmest most wonderful soul who has ever lived on this earth. Her kindness, her special smile and her love for others is beyond compare. Summers spent with her were my most memorable times as a child.
I couldn't cry at her funeral because the tribute to her was beyond compare. Her eulogy consisted of finding out that she was known to her local community as a "Prayer Warrior" and that if anyone was sick, injured, or in any kind of distress, they would call on her to pray. She always said she was ready to go to Heaven to be with Jesus. How can you cry when you know she is in a better place and she loved the Lord so much. We miss those that pass on because we are human, we cry for ourselves when they go. I miss her and I miss the times we shared but she is happy and at peace.
Grannie had four children: Elizabeth, Dorothy, Rebecca and James in that order. Grandchildren were: Julia, Nancy, Billy, Robin, Toresea, D'Esta and James. Greatgranchildren: Tracy, Jerry, & Christopher, Samuel and Charles (deceased).
