Casmier Jarka, 65 died at 2:20 a.m. today at Hines Veterans Hopspital, Hines, IL., after an illness of several months.
Funeral will be a 9:30 a.m. Sautreday at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church with Msgr. Alfred Reinig officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Circle at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummer White Mortuary from Friday afternoon. The Rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Jarka was born Feb 27, 1898, in Springfield Twp., the son of Andrew & Stella Prochniak Jarka. In 1920 in Niles MI., he was married to Mabel Horner who died in 1945. He was a retired as a printer at the Michigan City Paper Box Co. He was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivng are two brothers, Frank, and Paul, both of this city, and eight sisters; Mrs. John Kniola, Mrs. Otto Clough. Mrs. Anthony Ramion, Mrs. Anthony Soberinski, Mrs. Leo Wolotka, Mrs. Edward Dreske and Josephine Jarka, all of this city.

Casimier or "Charlie" as he was called was divorced from Mabel by the time of his death.
