Daughter of Henry Stahover and Madalene Maille, Anne attended St. Patrick's Grade School and graduated from East High School in June 1942 where she was a cheerleader. She worked at Kraus' Department Store where she met Leo F. (Freddie) Niemiec. They were married March 1, 1944.
She also worked at Erie Resistor, Serafini's Restaurant and Rondale Nursing Home (now Abington Crest). Most of her life was spent taking care of and loving her family.
She loved roller skating and dancing and bowled for many years at the Knights of St. John where she and her husband were life members. She enjoyed watching and feeding "her" birds, working in her yard until she could no longer do it and going for long drives to see where the country roads would take her. It didn't matter if she got lost. She just enjoyed the trip.

There is a saying, "Not all who wander are lost." I used to take long drives on weekends. Maybe I'll meet up with you some day "in the future" and we can go driving. Rest In Peace.|
