Carrie and Blaine were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 28, 1942. No one would doubt the love that they had for one another. Theirs is a love that will endure though eternity.
She was a homemaker and loved every minute of it. During her life they lived in various places, but for 32 years they lived in Thousand Oaks, Calif, and have called St. George, Utah home for the past 18 years.
Carrie had a great love of people and especially of her Savior Jesus Christ. Her life was one of dedication to the Lord. She was a great organizer. She had served as Relief Society President in her ward and stake, and until recently, for 15 years had served as compassionate service leader in her ward. She and Blaine served 2 missions; one at the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors Center, and the other in Manila, Philippines. She also served in the temple as an ordinance worker for almost 40 years.
Carrie was a remarkable woman and was well loved by everyone who knew her because she loved so much in return. When you were loved by Carrie you knew it, and she will be greatly missed by all.
