Artie was in the U.S. Army and his last duty station was, Co. C, 1st Bn, USAIC, TC, 3D, US Army. He was discharged 07 Oct 1966 at Fort Benning, GA.

Artie passed away at Anaheim General Hospital, 3350 W. Ball Road, Anaheim, California, on Jun 17, 2008. He was then cremated on Aug 22, 2008.

He was originally intered for temporary dispostion at the Mausolium, Corridor L, Crypt 3, Tier E, #85 at Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary, 1702 Farihaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705.

On March 2, 2011 Artie was disentered for re-interment at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and his remains were retrieved by his family on June 8, 2011

On August 8, 2011, he was re-intered at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in section: CC3B, row: 1, niche: 2.

Navy Chaplain (retired) Pastor Richard Huls officiated at Artie's Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery grave side service.

Artie's mother is still living.

Even though you were lost we searched for you for years. Now you are found, you are finally at Peace and resting with other heros.
