Chester E. Lasher, 60, of 500 Harrison St., West Kittanning, died Monday, April 16, 1990 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born August 6, 1929 in East Franklin Township to Roy J. and Ethel (Skinner) Lasher. A Korean War veteran, Mr. Lasher was a member of the American Legion Post No. 122 of Kittanning and the Worthington Golf League. He was employed by PPG Industries as a supervisor of sales and service. Survivors include his wife Mary (Copone) Lasher; two sons, James L. Lasher of Alexandria Va. and Randall E. Lasher of Pittsburgh; one brother Robert R. Lasher of West Kittanning and four sisters, Mrs. Corbett (Dorothy) Elkin of Vandergrift, Mrs. Chris (Doris) Otto of Washington, N.J., Mrs. Lester (Darlene) Sawitt of Upper Darby, Pa. and Wanda Petrovsky of West Kittanning. He was preceded in Death by a sister Roseanna. LASHER - Friends of Chester E. Lasher, 60, of 500 Harrison St., West Kittanning, who died Monday, April 16, 1990, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Hartman, pastor of Shadeland Avenue Christian Church of Pittsburgh, officiating. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
