He was born September 08, 1923 in New York and was the son of Dr. O. Howard Cobb and Dr. Lucy McCrea Cobb. He graduated from Harvard University in 1943. He served in World War II and had been making his home at Keezletown for 30 years. He owned and operated Massanutten Caverns.
He is survived by one brother, the Rev. McCrea H. Cobb of Fort Myers, FL; and one sister, Adele Roundey of Las Vegas, NV. His body was cremated and a memorial service was held within Massanutten Caverns.
