Mary Ann passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. She was born on June 22, 1934 to Josephine (nee MacAluso) and Luke Fruia, Sr. in Houston, Tx.

Mary Ann had Lymphoma cancer and was in remission, she took her 5th final round of chemo and developed a fever the day after chemo. She was admitted to MD Anderson in April and suffered numerous complication due to fever and a zero immune system. She lost her battle May 14th with her husband Raymond and their three children by her side.

They had three children, Diana L. Brown, married to Marlin Brown (who recently passed away), Raymond L. delahoussaye Jr. and Charlotte A. Mary Ann was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for 47 years, served on numerous committees as Chairperson for the St. Francis Bazaar for many years. She was a devout Christian who practiced her faith daily. She was a wonderful Mother, Wife, Nanny and Friend. Mary Ann is truely missed daily, and will never be forgotten. She was a one of a kind "Mom" and "Nanny" to her three children and grand-children. She was in her children and grand-children's lifes on a daily basis and everyone is missing her like no other.

Rest in Peace and we will see you when we get to heaven. I know you will be waiting for all of us with open arms, your infectious laugh and your big beautiful smile.
