"DIED - In this city, Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, at the residence of William Zinn, Mrs. Catherine Zinn, aged 80 years.
"'Grandma' Zinn was born in Kentucky January 1, 1816. She was left a widow about 11 years ago. She moved from Kentucky to Missouri in 1853, where she lived until about one year ago, when she came to visit her sons and daughters who live at this place, some at Elk City and Longton and one son in the Territory; also her nephew, Wm. Martin, who lives on Cheyenne, northeast of town.
"The remains were shipped yesterday to Butler, Bates county, Mo., for interrment. Her sons, John and George Zinn, and her son-in-law, Samuel Ruble, of Elk City, accompanied the remains to their last resting place"
