Tori was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. A fun-loving and talkative second grader at Alexander II Elementary School, she was full of life and was always smiling. Tori played soccer with the Macon Soccer Club. Tori loved animals and dolls and had a collection of stuffed animals. She never met a stuffed animal that she did not want. Tori loved her older sister, Baylee. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Glenn Heard, Sr. and Sibyl Heard and by her maternal grandfather, Vonell Bryan. Left on this mortal earth to cherish her memory are her parents, Glenn and Kelli Heard, and sister, Baylee Heard, of Macon; grandmother, Jan Bryan of Fort Valley; aunt, Kimberly Floyd of Macon; cousins, Amanda and Blake Floyd of Macon. An Alexander II Magnet School second-grader who died Saturday in a car wreck was remembered by school officials Monday as motivated and cheerful. School officials lit a candle Monday to honor Tori Heard, 7. One teacher showed a picture of Tori, who had blonde ponytails. "Our hearts are sad," principal Penny Smith said. "Tori was a great competitor and proud she was in a Blue Ribbon school. She always had a hug and smile for you." Tori died in a crash at the intersection of Ga. 247 Connector and U.S. 41 in Warner Robins. A 2000 Ford Mustang, in which Tori was riding in the back seat, turned left from Ga. 247 Connector into the path of a Jeep Cherokee.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. As a father pitieth his children, so Jehovah pitieth them that fear him. For himself knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.|
