Robert Terrell "Terry" Johnson, age 65, was called by the Creator to Rebirth on May 21 2010 at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina.

His earth bound birth occurred on 20 May 1945 in Thompson's Hospital, Lumberton, North Carolina.

Terry was the son of Esther Edith Manning, daughter of Chester Holland Manning and Mary Magdalene "Maggie" Taylor; AND, Robert Talmadge Johnson, son of Will Durant Johnson and Julia Victoria "Cora" Edwards.

Terry devoted his life to the arts such as Anglo Saxon poetry, the history of the Anglo Saxon, Germanic and Native American populations as well to an abiding love of Old Time American Music, a precursur to the earliest country music of the American People.

At the end of his life he studied and researched a History of his Robeson County, North Carolina roots in memory of and honor of a promise made to his beloved Grandmother.

Terry was the sole, devoted family caregiver at the end of the lives of his Grandmother, his Mother, his partners Mother and finally his Beloved Companion of 34 years.

Terry was happy all the days of his life because he was taught and given the Gift of Unconditional Love by his Mother and Grandmother. He gave and found Unconditional Love because of their blessing.

He died from end stage Lung Disease, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

It was his wish to be cremated and his ashes buried in the
double urn containing those of his beloved companion.
