Ray William Hamilton
Birth: Jan. 30, 1904
Death: Mar. 21, 1973
Cave Springs
Benton County
Arkansas, USA

Ray William was the Son of William Henry and Sadie Myrtle Hamilton.

Ray was the beloved husband of Reba Estell Chenoweth Hamilton. They had one son Lee Hamilton.

Ray passed away at his home in Cave Springs, Arkansas March 21, 1973 he was 69 years old from a heart attack.

Ray and Reba were married April ~ 1926, they were married 47 years. Ray was a good son, loving husband, father, grandfather, sweet and special uncle and friend. Uncle Ray was such a hard worker, he had a huge dairy, and milked Holstein cows twice a day. Morning's came early, they were up at 4:00am to start the milkin' chores, always ate dinner between 10:30 and 11:00, afternoon milkin' came early, supper was at 3:00 and bedtime was after the evenin' news. Uncle Ray always made a big garden, aunt Reba did lots of canning and freezing. Uncle Ray could grow the biggest pumpkins you ever saw, aunt Reba always had a fresh pumpkin pie baked in the fall. My brother Junior's first job was working for uncle Ray on his farm balin' hay and doing other chores, he learned how to drive on the tractor. Uncle Ray got my sister Judy her first job working at the "Trolley Cafe" in Cave Springs. When my sister, brother and I would get sick at school, uncle Ray would come and get us, and take us home. Uncle Ray was so good to my Aunt Reba, and she was the perfect wife!!

Ray was a member of the Cave Springs Church of Christ in Cave Springs, Arkansas.

"As a star is lost when the daylight is given, he has faded away to Shine Brightly in Heaven." We Love and Miss you so much Uncle Ray.
