"Stevens, April 14- Tamzie[sic] K. (Matz), 72, widow of Lehman B. Showalter, was found dead yesterday in the garden at her home here. She had been planting flowers when she apparently suffered a heart attack. A physician said that death was instantaneous. The body was found by a neighbor.
Mrs. Showalter was a daughter of Harrison and Mary (Keller) Matz and was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Denver. Surviving are a daughter, Gladys, wife of Leon Fasnacht, Ephrata R.D.1, and three grandchildren.
Services Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Mellinger Funeral Home, Denver, the Rev. W.S. Brendle officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery."
