Miss Lillian Brewer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Brewer, of Beallsville, and Joseph Dyson Byrd, of Dawsonville, were married Wednesday at the home of the bride's parents by the Rev. Lewis Watson, of Rockville. The bride wore a gown of white taffeta and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. The only attendants were her niece and nephew, Eleanor May Jones and William Augustus Jones, ribbon bearers, and her nephew, George Brewer, flower carrier.

Mrs. Lillian Brewer Byrd, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 29, at the Presbyterian Home, 3050 Military Road, N.W., Washington, D.C. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Byrd and was formerly of Dawsonville.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph D. Byrd and Edward B. Byrd, both of Dawsonville. and three sisters. Mrs. Aletha White, Mrs. Nellie Pyles and Mrs. Margaret Shreve, all of Washington, D.C.
Friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31. Interment will be in the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Presbyterian Home of Washington, D.C.
