BENJAMIN R. "BUZZ" MUNRO MILTON — Benjamin R. "Buzz" Munro, 67, of Milton died unexpectedly Thursday morning, Feb. 9, 2006, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
Buzz was born Dec. 28, 1938, in New Castle, N.H., the son of the late Oscar Munro and Essie F. Ricker Munro.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Navy.
On Feb. 25, 1974, he married Frances Jean Trayah. For 11 years he was driver of Van 17, employed with the S.S.T.A., a job he very much enjoyed. Buzz is survived by his loving wife and companion of 32 years, Fran of Milton; and his children, Melissa-Kay Munro and fiance Doug Hamlin of Milton, Melody-Kay Munro and fiance Daryll Sweet of Milton, and Christopher Carl Munro and his fiancee, Nicole Maxham of Milton; five grandchildren, Dakota, Roger, Shelly, Duffer and Hunter; his brothers, George Munro of New Castle and Bert Munro of Salem, N.H.; and his sister, Kay Dennis and her husband Brad. He leaves his special friends, Bob and Linda McSweeney, Steve and Anita Tolces, "Glo" Garrapy, Shirley Bosley and Rose and Andre Fontaine and Barb and Gary Destromp and his very special companion, Midnight Munro.
He was predeceased by his grandson Trent Gerard Munro; and his adopted brother, Dave Knight, of Salem.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Milton.
