Born Jan. 23, 1914 in South Webster, a son of the late Edward and Nancy Ann "Daisy" Rawlins Cook, he was a former employee of the Ohio Highway Department and was retired from the Little Scioto Golf Course. A Navy vetern of World War II, during which he earned the Purple Heart Medal, He was a life member of VFW and Disabled Veterns, and a member of the St John Luthern Church of Powellsville.
Surviving are his wife Evelyn Means Cook Services were held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Morton funeral Home in New Boston, Ohio, Memorial contributions may be made to St John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
