This memorial is for my mother.
Margaret was my mother and friend. She had a total of three children, two daughters, Linda and Kim; one son, Tom; six grandchildren, Julie, Mike, Amanda, Michelle, Melissa H., and Mike H.; and 3 great grandchildren, Payton, Kalen, and Alyssa.
Mother: Ilva Elaine Spencer Kearns
Father: James Andrew Kearns
Brothers: Edward, Robert, Charles, and Donald.
Sisters: Sandra, and Elizabeth.
I am home in heaven, dear ones;
Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
Did you wonder how I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remains,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
A Golden Heart
God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer,
And saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not ask you to stay.
A Golden Heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why
A million times I've needed you
A million times I've cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
The Images of A Mom
4 YEARS OF AGE...My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE...My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE...My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE...Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either!
16 YEARS OF AGE...Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE...That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE...Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE...Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE...Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE...Wish I could talk it over with Mom.
I post this in your memory Mama so you will never be forgotten and can always be found on the internet highway. I love you, and miss you so much.
Your loving daughter,
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
