Judith Diane Brown, 69, of Bad Axe completed her walk through life and went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 20, 2006.
She was born March 9, 1937 in Detroit, daughter of the late Russell D. and Catherine M. (Sass) Lee. She graduated in 1955 from Bad Axe High School and in 1968 from Western Michigan University with a degree in special education.
Judith was united in marriage to her childhood sweetheart, William F. Brown, Jan. 30, 1960 at the First Presbyterian Church of Bad Axe.
In her early years, she worked at the former Reid's Drug Store and at Michigan Bell Telephone Company. After graduating from college, she taught for several years at Bad Axe Public Schools. She completed her working years co-managing the Brown Egg Company with her husband. She retired in 1991, to enjoy the remainder of her life as a homemaker and companion.
According to her wishes, Judith's remains have been cremated at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. Her ashes will be committed privately at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe.
Memorials may be offered to Bluewater Thumb Youth for Christ, the Salvation Army or a Christian organization of the donor's choice.
Cremated, Ashes scattered.
