She was an intelligent person, skipping grade 7 into the 8th grade. She graduated from high school at age 15. Married to Alfred Morency in 1929 at 17, and the mother of Alfred, Robert, John, Thomas and Diane. Moved to National Park, NJ around 1936 and widowed in 1951 and married again to Robert Logan in 1953. He was an army career man. She was a military wife, worked for a Doctor in El Paso, Tx , worked for Curtis Publishing Co , Whitmans Chocolate and Schnellenbergs, in Philadlephia, Pa, worked for a Toy company in Camden, NJ a Tomatoe factory in National Park NJ, and several other jobs, and moved around from state to state, Kansas, Vermont,Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey and overseas to Germany. My mother wanted to be a nurse but in those days you did what your parents wanted and she ended up being a secretary in many jobs. She settled in Oklahoma and thats were she passed away at age 87. She will be remembered and missed by her grandchildren, Donna, Robert, John, Nancy, Joann, Bonnie, Thomas,

She will always live in my heart and I will always miss her. She passed away in peace on March 23rd, 2000. I still miss you and I know someday we will be together again.

In her younger years she coached baseball for a team in National Park, she roller skated down beach hill[ which is a steep hill in the town of National Park, NJ, it goes into the Delaware River ] ,she loved to dance and wanted to dance with Caesar Romero, she could whistle like a bird. She was a good baker and cook. She love to swim, crochet, read and do crossword puzzles and play cards. She taught me alot in life . She showed me how to be a caring human being and do for others without expecting anything in return and treat all people no matter who they were with the respect and dignity that I would want to be treated. Not only was she my mother but my best friend. God Bless you and I know you are in Gods home. I want to thank everyone who leaves a note or tokens at my mothers site, God Bless you. Please leave a flower at my fathers site, Alfred Francis Morency Jr. and my brothers Alfred Francis Morency the 3rd , Robert Edward Morency and John Martin Morency Sr.
