Chris LaVern Briggs 2-year old son of Tom and Clara Parker Briggs 58 1/2 Bowen Street died at 2 am (Sunday Dec. 30th 1962) in Buffalo Children's Hospital. Surviving besides his parents are a brother Daniel; Grandparents: Mr and Mrs Howard Briggs, Jamestown N.Y.; Harold Parker of Basom N.Y. and Mrs Helen Gale of Corry Pa; and a Great-Grandmother Mrs. Carletta Parker of Union City Pa.
The boy had been born with a congenital heart defect and had been a patient in both Jamestown Hospitals. He also had been a patient several times at Childrens Hospital Buffalo N.Y. He had been scheduled for an open heart operation in three weeks.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Henderson-Lincoln Funeral Home.
