Noreen was born in San Fernando August 15, 1934. She graduated St. Ferdinands Catholic High School and was to become a nun. That is until my dad came along. I am her fourth child, her "baby" as she would say. I remember hating that as a kid, but I am so proud to be her baby now. She had big blue eyes, and an even bigger smile. She gave the best hugs that I have ever known. They always made me feel like HOME. She left me without warning one day when I was 16 years old, due to a massive stroke, and my life has never been the same. ~I miss her every minute of every day.~ She loved to laugh. She loved The San Diego Padres and Chargers, red roses and was an avid reader of romance novels. She read an average of 4 to 5 books per day. (Yes per DAY, she could read a book in 2 hours!) Her two favorite places ~ were the ocean and the airport - she loved to sit in the sand while feeding the pigeons and listen to the waves crash on the shore while I played. Then we would always go from there to Lindberg Field and watch the airplanes take off and land. She absolutely loved those planes. On many occassions she had pictures of her and I taken in the cockpit of a PSA (her favorite airline) and her smile was from ear to ear. She also adored our dog, Duke. He was a Boxer. She would sing to him! He passed away 2 weeks after she did. I think he was as broken hearted as I was. But I think he followed her HOME.

When I'm gone, release me, let me go;
I have so many things to see and do.
Don't tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you love.
You can only guess how much that
You gave me in happiness.
I thank you for your love you each have shown.
But it is time I travel alone.
So grieve a while for me, grieve you must;
Then let your grief be comfort by trust.
It's only for a little while we must part.
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I'll come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near.
If you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and a
"Welcome HOME!"

Special thanks to *Piglet* for your continued loving support. XOXOXOX
