Donald L. Perkins, Sr., 78, of Findlay, died on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on August 14, 1934 to the late H. Donald and Myrtle (Boulieu) Perkins. On July 18, 1953 he married Jacqueline Carpenter and she survives in Findlay. Also surviving are four children, Donene (Barry) Simmons, of rural Findlay, Donald L. (Anne) Perkins, Jr. of Williamsburg, Virginia, Diana (David) Sillivan, San Andreas, California, Densie (Bret) Hibbard Sr., Findlay, nine grandchildren, Brandi (Adam Kidwell) Hibbard, Bret (Claire) Hibbard Jr., Erin (Tim Runion) Simmons, Briana (Scott Adams) Simmons, Whitney (Jerry Blevins) Simmons, Donny (Joycelyn) Perkins III, Carli Perkins, Sara (Brent) Tubbs, Alex (Laci) Crua, twelve great grandchildren Rielee Saum, Madisyn Balog, Lauren & Andrew Hibbard, Parker, Taylor & Cooper Tubbs, Cody & Sophia Crua, Gavin Adams, Jacquelyn Adams, one brother, Robert D. Perkins, Gonyer, Georgia, and one sister, Sharon Baum of Kenton, Ohio. Don had been employed as a machinist at Hancock Machine, Findlay Diesel and retired from Differential Steel Car Company. He was a member of the Findlay and Bluffton Fishing Clubs and was an avid golfer having scored the first hole in one at the former Fairview Golf Club. He also owned and raced 3 D's Stock Car in the mid 1950's, and enjoyed going to garage sales.
