Earl "P. Suggins" Ensor

Earl passed away 3 August, 2012 at Crestwood Hospital after battling lung cancer. He is preceded by his wife of 55 years, Keiko "Mary" who made his life complete. He honorably served his country in Vietnam and retired from the U.S. Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Earl also retired from the Louisiana State Police; and served as an instructor at the Hazardous Devices School, Redstone Arsenal. He enjoyed his time volunteering with the local Meal-on-Wheels.
As a devoted all-American father and grandpa, he is survived by his two children, John Ensor and wife, Sherry, of Crestview, FL and Susan Smith and husband, Herb, of McLean, VA; grandchildren, April Johnson and husband, Chad of N. Little Rock, AR, Trey Smith of McLean, VA, and Joe Ensor of Crestview, FL; and three great-grandchildren, Whitney, Bailey, and Tyler. His two surviving sisters, Louise Nance and Judy Ralph, will miss him terribly. The family expresses their deepest gratitude for the wonderful care he received at Crestwood Hospital and Clearview Cancer Institute. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Please share your condolences online at laughlinservice.com.
