James Christopher "Chris" Nash
Birth: Jan. 2, 1976, USA
Death: Aug. 3, 1995, USA

Son of Mary Cecile Forse and Michael L Nash, Sr. Died as the result of an accident in which he was a passenger. He and a co-worker were returning to their jobs at Wal-mart in Crosby, after having eaten lunch at Panchos. Due to the negilence of a truck driver, and the negligence of the driver of the truck he was in, the truck overturned and Chris drown. Alcohol was NOT a factor in this wreck, but ATTEMPTING TO PASS A TRUCK THAT DECIDED TO TURN LEFT (WITHOUT GIVING A SIGNAL) WAS. The driver of the truck that Chris was in attempted to get back behind the truck, however, he lost control of the vehicle. The truck was upside down in a ravine. Both of the boys died that day.
The trucker was unharmed.

Funeral services were at 1:30pm on Monday, August 7, 1995 in the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton, Tx.

My brother: Bo Nash

A HUGE THANK YOU to Jaclyn for sponsoring my sons' memorials! God bless you!

Near shady wall a rose once grew.
Budded and blossomed in God's free light.
Watered and fed by morning dew,
Shedding its sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall,
Through which shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength,
With never a thought of fear or pride
It followed the light through the crevice length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view,
Were found the same as they were before;
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing its fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve,
And make our courage faint or fall?
Nay let us faith and hope receive-
The Rose still grows beyond the wall...

Scattering fragrance far and wide,
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.
