She is survived by her devoted husband, Chester Lee Rose of Independence, MO; four loving daughters, Anna Lee Tyler of Independence, MO; Doris Jean Evans of Meridian, ID; Betty Jo Walton of Independence, MO; and Susan Lynn Mehl and husband, Norman, of Higginsville, MO; six grandchildren: Shauna Shipley; Shae Evans and wife, Kim; Nicole Curtner and husband, John; Sharon, Lauren and Kaitlyn Mehl; eight great-grandchildren: Rachelle Leddy, Drew and Jonathan Shipley, Boone and Adrianna Cornett, Morgan and Lawson Evans, and Jonathan Curtner; three brothers: R.C. Funeral services were May 17 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, MO; followed by burial in Francis Cemetery, Cull, MO.
THE BROKEN CHAIN -
We little knew that morning
that God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide;
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
RELATIONSHIP: This is my Mom.

If roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me; place them in my mother's arms, and tell her they're from me; Tell her that I love her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile; because remembering her is easy; ...(Read more)|
