Born in Fristad, Älvsborgs Län, Sweden, the second son of Johann August Pehrsson and Maximiliana Charlotta Nikolausdotter, Adolph still was a "babe in arms" when his family immigrated. His parents soon Americanized their names, becoming August Page and Charlotte Anderson.
Adoph Page married Lenora Amanada Nichols 20 Nov 1892 in Chapman, Merrick Co., NE. They were the parents of seven known children: Harry Everett, Walter, Oscar Arnold, Merle Orson, Hattie Belle "Sue," Fred August and Lela Margaret Page.

In Grand Island
A. D. Page, died Saturday evening, October 22nd, at his home in Grand Island. He was born October 9 [sic, 9], 1965, in Sweden, and came with his parents to Illinois when a baby.
Later the family moved to Hamilton county, Nebraska and he was married in 1892 to Miss Le Nora Nichols at Chapman. Six children were born to his union: Harry, Merrow [sic, Merle], Fred and Lila, all of Grand Island, Oscar Page and Mrs. Hattie Spencer of Los Angeles, Cal.
Others who survive are his brother, John Page of Central City, four sisters, Mrs. H. H. Hudnall, Mrs. Allie Lear and Mrs. Carl Olson of this city and Mrs. Charlotte Trobee of Omaha.
Funeral services were held from the Evans Funeral home in Grand Island Tuesday.
