FOSTER, Rose Beyer, resident of Duarte, passed away June 30, 1979. She had been a Registered Nurse in Hollywood for thirty-seven years. She was also well-known for her oil paintings, having received numerous awards. She leaves four sisters to mourn her death: Bertha A. Beyer, Esther Reave [sic, Reade], Clara E. Winkler and Mary A. Page.

In Loving Memory of Rose H. Foster, born Nov. 18, 1911, Grand Island, Nebraska; passed away June 30, 1979, Duarte, Calif.; services Thursday, July 5, 1979, 2:00 p.m., Live Oak Chapel; officiating Rev. Stephen E. Skov; internment Live Oak Memorial Park.

Rose was pre-deceased by her husband, Nathan "Red" Foster. The couple did not have any children.
