Clara was Cherokee, and a strong, proud woman who loverd her children, and took very good care of them and her home. She married James M. "Jim" Jackson in Dec. 1900, in Oklahoma, IT., they had eleven children.
Her grandparents came to Oklahoma from Georgia during one of the forced removals of the Cherokee. Her children getting an education was very important to her, for her sons and her daughters.
Every spring wild Daffodils grow on top of her grave.
