Born in Lima Ohio, the oldest son of Victor and Lulia Eansor Chaffee. Left school in his elementary years to go to work and delivered papers. Worked for many years in the Pfeiffers and Stroh Breweries. As a youngster he worked with his father delivering Ice in the days of the "Ice Box". He survived oral cancer and later in life had to go on dialysis which, along with an undiagnosed heart condition caused his death. One of his greatest passions was fishing and he loved the time spent fishing on the lakes. We miss you Dad. RIP.
