SPANISH FORK -- Marvin Adelbert White, 56, a native of Goshen, but for about five years a resident of Spanish Fork, died of a heart attack at his residence in the Booth Motel, Monday at 7 a.m.
He was born at Goshen Jan. 29, 1888, a son of George and Elizabeth Laird White. He was educated in the schools of Juab County. In early manhood he married Dorris Griffith. Most of his life, he followed farming and ranching as a vocation; and for a number of years was proprietor of a grocery store at Goshen. Since coming to Spanish Fork he has been employed by Barnett Wightman, a local businessman.
Mr. White is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dorris Griffith White; a son, Sgt. Kent D. White, in the U.S. Army air forces in England; a daughter, Mrs. LaRie Ballard, Payson; a stepson, Wayne Carter, Los Angeles, Cal.; a brother and sister, Ernest White and Mrs. Cleo Miller, both of Goshen.
