Alice Lefler Gwilliam, born in Park City, Utah, March 18, 1913, died at the age of 84, June 4, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a decade long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Married July 1, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple to James Llewellyn Gwilliam, the mother of five, grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of many. Alice is survived by her husband of 60 years, her sons, James, Steven and their families and daughter, Carolyn who resides in Texas, son Robert and family who reside in Utah and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who reside in Utah, California, Arizona and Texas. She was the last surviving child of Mary Alice Turnbow and Wallace William Lefler, Alice was preceded in death by her seven brothers and sisters and her daughter, Alice Holbrook Schwab.
She will be remembered by her family and friends as a patient, loving mother, meticulous housekeeper and later in life as a crafter of fine ceramics. Released from the bounds of her earthly body, Mother waits patiently for her family to return to her.
