Furniture Dealer And Retired Undertaker Dies - Funeral Will Be Held Thursday

G. F. W. Miller, furniture dealer at Glenville, and a retired undertaker, died at his home yesterday at 12:45 p.m. Death was caused by a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered three weeks ago. He was aged 77 years.
Besides his wife, Manerva Tracy Miller, he leaves a son, Malden T. Miller, Glenville; a daughter, Ruth E. Miller, at home; a sister, Miss Lamanda Miller, Brodbeck; and two grandchildren, Malden and Dorothy Miller, Glenville.
Mr. Miller was in the undertaking and furniture business for 56 years. Eleven years ago he sold the undertaking part of the business to George W. He worked four years with Mr. Hedrick, after which he went in business.
He was a life-long member of the Reformed congregation of Stone Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday with brief services at his late home at 9:30 a.m., followed by further services at Stone Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed Charge, will officiate.
