Doris June Edwardson, 79 year-old resident of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, died April 4, 2007, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born November 1, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Roy Brinegar and Mamie Larson Brinegar. She was a former resident of Montana and Seattle, Washington, but had lived most of her life in Hiwasse, Arkansas. She was married to Delbert Eugene Edwardson for 58 years, before his passing on April 6, 2005. She worked as a CNA for Gravette Manor Nursing Home for 20 years. She enjoyed working in her yard and playing the guitar. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Joy Cordova.

Survivors include three daughters: Karen Schneider and her husband Paul of Gravette, Arkansas; Judy Duffield and husband Brad of Thompson Falls, Montana; and Doyne Rodgers and her husband Dutch of Decatur, Arkansas; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two brothers: Alvin Brinegar of Gentry, Arkansas and Winifred Brinegar of Poteau, Oklahoma; and two sisters: Inez Larson of Edgemere, Idaho and Veda Cooper of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brian Schneider, Dominic Schneider, Tim Alsup, Rocky Strzelecki, Darrick Strzelecki, Skyler Schultz and Randy Duffield.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Sulphur Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church, Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Leonard Lovell officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Hiwasse, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 216 W Spring St., Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
