Benjamin Raymond O'Toole, Jr. was my brother. He was a member of the U. S. Navy stationed in Connecticut. He was 17 years old when he was killed in an auto accident along with two other sailors in Connecticut while returning from a short leave. There were a total of six people in the car, so three did survive. This accident occurred on Tuesday, July 5, 1949.
He was survived by his parents, Benjamin Raymond O'Toole, Sr. and Anna O'Toole(nee Ferro), as well as four brothers, Albert F. O'Toole, Harry J. O'Toole, Robert J. O'Toole and John O'Toole; three sisters, Mary O'Toole Koller, Anna O'Toole Pirrone(now Weney), and Joan P. O'Toole(now Pacitti) and a maternal grandmother, Catherine Ferro. He was also survived by his maternal uncles Joseph Ferro and Frank Ferro.
He was predeceased by just a few months by his paternal grandfather, Daniel O'Toole, Sr. He was also predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Susan Curry O'Toole and his aunts, Margaret O'Toole Deal and Estella O'Toole(who passed away at age 15-1/2 in 1912.) One uncle predeceased him, Daniel O'Toole(who was an infant when he passed away in 1902).
6/5/2007- A very nice person took a photo of my brother Ben's grave.
I'm just very happy that he is remembered.
