Pvt. Herbert C. Rickard
Served with the U.S.Army during WW1 of 1917-18.
Bert passed away in May of 1989 at the age of 95.
This Rickard has to be related to me as "Herbert" is a major family given name to us Rickards (Bert is just Herbert for short.)and as my Great Grandfather once told me "If the "S" is on the end of the name its family, if its missing then they got lazy and forgot over time to add it" (True story) And since my father was called Bert so this Bert here has to be family and family gets sponsored.
