Sarah Robinson was born 13 May 1856 in Normanby, Grey County, Ontario, Canada. She was the fourth child/third daughter of nine children born to Benjamin Robinson (II) and Ann(a) J. Ball. Both of her parents were from Ireland; in source documents, two of her siblings list Armagh, Ireland as their parent's birthplace; this would be County Armagh, Ireland (still researching if this also means Armagh city).
Sarah was only 8 years old when her mother Ann Ball Robinson died in 1864 in Bentinck Township., Grey County, Ontario. Her father married widower Agnes Ann Banks, Carleton in Normanby, Grey County, Ontario on 20 Nov 1865 and they had two more children, who died young.

On 31 Aug 1875, at the age of 19, Sarah married John A. Hart of Greenock, Bruce Peninsula, Ontario; they married in Kincardine, Bruce, Ontario. Their first child, William Henry Hart, was b. 1876, Riversdale, Greenock, Bruce, Ontario; second, Mary Ann/Marion b. 1878 in Kincardine, Bruce, Ontario. By 01 Jun 1880, the family had removed to Sault Saint. Marie, Chippewa, Michigan, USA and their third and last child, George Isaac Hart was born there on 19 Jun 1880, two weeks after the Census.
John & Sarah were pioneer settlers of DeTour Village, where they resided outside of town in the Hart Settlement named for John (and probably his brother George who arrived about 4 years later). Hart Settlement was later renamed Schlesser for its first Postmaster there. John was later appointed U.S. Postmaster in Schlesser/DeTour in January 1899 and his son William Henry replaced him after his death later that year.
Sarah lost her husband John on 09 Sep 1899, just four months after the wedding of their firstborn, William Henry. Eight short weeks after John's death, Sarah married John's brother, George Hart on 31 Oct 1899 in Sault Saint Marie. They had no children together, but he was a widower and she helped raise his youngest three children in DeTour, Chippewa, Michigan, USA.
When George died in DeTour in Nov. 1914, she lived alone, except for a servant, Robert Willier, about her age, who appears in the 1920 US Census with Sarah.
On 31 Mar 1921, Sarah married Patrick A. Ginter (Genter, Gunter)* in The Sault, where she lived out her remaining days until her death there in 1934. Patrick is shown to have survived her on her 1934 obituary, but it is unclear what happened to him after her death.
*Marriage certificate for Sarah and Patrick (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N31J-8W6) states "Genter" as last name; Sarah's headstone shows "Ginter." For reasons I've yet to uncover, Patrick did not go by his real name: Ira Asa Gunter. Patrick and Sarah's marriage certificate shows he was born in Toledo, OH but his parents are listed as as Hiram Gunter and Margaret Kemp of Cashel, Hastings, Ontario, Canada. They are well-documented Canadian families.
