Lamar County Echo, Paris, Texas-May 1978-'Mrs. Oscar E. Davidson, 87, of 1060 NE 31st. died Saturday, May 27, 1978, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held 4 Tuesday in the Leverett-Steele-Thomas Funeral Chapel with the Bishop Lynn Hullinger officiating. Internment was made in Lone Star Cemetery in Red River County. Ollie Crow Davidson was born November 23, 1890, in Honey Grove, the daughter of John C. Crow and Caroline Sparks Crow. She married Oscar Elbert Davidson on January 17, 1904, in Clarksville, who preceded her in death in 1972. She had lived here for 20 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Survivors include three sons, Glenn L. Davidson of Paris, Vyrle R. Davidson of Bearden, Arkansas, and Darvis L. Davidson of Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Margie Malone and Mrs. Thelma Ward, both of Paris, Mrs. Eva Bell Wooten of Texarkana and Mrs. Gevena Pobetts of Umatilla, Florida; one sister, Melinda Davidson of Clarksville; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Pall bearers were Dennis Ward, Gary Ward, Kenneth Ward, Milly Malone, Ray Malone and Elbert Malone'.
