Rosary is to be recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. at West Funeral Home chapel for Eusebia Rodriguez Acosta, 78, 1300 N. Canal St., who died May 1, 1989 at a local nursing home.

Mass is to be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. John Elmer officiating. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Manuel Sillas, Jimmy Hensley, Sam Urquidez Jr., Jonathon Duran, Ervey Armendariz and Peter Anaya Jr.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1910, in Polvo, Texas, and moved to Otis as a young child. In 1928 she married the late Ramon Acosta and made her home in Carlsbad.She has been a resident at Lakeview Christian Home for the past eight years. She was a member of the San Jose Mission and a past member of the San Jose Altar Society.

Survivors include one son, Camillo Acosta, Milwaukee, Wisc.; three daughters, Flora Anaya and Lala Muniz, both of Carlsbad, Frances Munoz, Whittier, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Rodriquez, Phoenix, Ariz., Anastacia Garcia, San Joaquin, Calif., 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
