David G. Baker, 90, Ellensburg, died Tuesday at Gold Leaf Care Center. He was born in Meeker, Colorado on August 25, 1897. Mr. Baker served in the U.S. Army during World War I.

He and Margaret LaGrange were married in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, on October 6, 1926. They moved to the Ellensburg area from Leavenworth in 1949 and farmed near Kittitas and later near the Vantage Highway until retirement due to ill health three years ago.

Mr. Baker was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Meeker, Colorado, and the Grace Episcopal Church in Ellensburg. He was a former member of the Grange and Kittitas County Cattlemen's Association.

Survivors, all of Ellensburg, include his wife, Margaret; one daughter, Mrs. Lauren (Pat) Belsaas; three granddaughters, Katharine Bishop, Laurie and Julie Belsaas.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church of Ellensburg. Memorials are suggested to the Kittitas Valley Hospital Foundation, P. O. Box 1031, Ellensburg, 98926.
