Raymond L. Ammerman
Raymond was born on July 25, 1932 and reached his expiration date on April 23, 2010 of complications from pulmonary fibrosis. He was 77.

He was retired USAF MSgt and served in such places as Korea, Berlin and Vietnam.

He is survived by his dear wife, Iris Rose; two sisters, Dorothy Nott of Florida and Joan Taylor of Alabama; 2 step daughters, Dr. Deborah Price and Pamela Price; daughter in law, Teresa Carey and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen Ammerman and a sister, Irene and a brother, Edward.

He held leadership positions in various organizations; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the Eastern Star and the Optimist Club. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the City & County of Denver, first as a Deputy Sheriff and then as a computer programmer.

Services will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday at Horan & McConaty at Parker Rd. and Dartmouth. Burial with full military honors will be at Ft. Logan. Published in Denver Post on April 28, 2010
