Alma Louise Gordon, 82, of Silver Oaks, died Saturday at Traditions at Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls.

She was born July 9, 1914, in Middletown, N. Y., to William F. and Florence B. (Pierson) Clark. She was a former member of the Portage County D.A.R., and formerly worked at KSU Student Union in food service. She moved with her husband to Meadville in 1966 when the Erie Yards closed. In Meadville she was a member of the Watson Run United Church of Christ, the Watson Run Women's Club, and the Watson Run Grange. She returned three years ago to be closer to her family.

Survivors include her son, Robert W. (Judy) of Akron; daughters, Marilyn L. (Harold) Ratliff of Kent and Dorothy M. Stratton of Mentor; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Gordon, in 1985.

Calling hours will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Forrest E. Fields officiating. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
