Lucylle Lillian Salmon was born March 3, 1913 in Hartshorne, OK, the daughter of Ed and Alta (Robertson) Sadler and died May 17, 2009 in Tahlequah, OK. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School. On February 5, 1934 she married Lester L. Salmon in Eufaula, OK. Lucylle worked in Sequoyah Grocery Store, a family run business before a career at Carnation Company and the Muskogee County Department of Health, retiring in the mid 70's. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, in 1965, her parents, Ed and Alta (Robertson) Sadler and brothers, John Ed Sadler and Truett Sadler. Survivors include her only child, Judith Ann, of Aurora, CO; sister, Gwen Gibson, Muskogee, OK; brother, Paul Sadler, Springerville, AZ; two granddaughters, Leah Abbott, Aurora, CO and Lezlie Thompson, Anthem, AZ. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Casey Price, Kindall Szpak, MacKenzie and Brayden Abbott and two great-grandchildren, Blake Price and Natalee Szpak. She is also survived by Bob and Alma Sadler, Siloam Springs, AR and Suzanne and Clif Murray, Muskogee, OK and several other loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services for will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Greenhill Cemetery with Chaplain Bill Holcomb officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
